The Seashell Suit is an armor item in the Shipwrecked DLC, made with 10 Seashells, two Seaweed and one Rope. It requires a Science Machine to prototype, will absorb 75% of damage taken, and prevent the player from getting Poisoned by physical attacks.
The Seashell Suit protects against Poison from Poison Snakes, Poison Mosquitoes, and Spider Warriors.
Tips
- It can be especially helpful to wear the Seashell Suit when chopping Jungle Trees as Poison Snakes may appear.
- Keeping a Seashell Suit in the inventory during Monsoon Season can be really handy, since it is a cheap way to protect the character from Poison Mosquitoes. It is also more efficient than carrying an Anti Venom and armor at the same time, saving one inventory slot.
- It is recommended to carry a Seashell Suit when gambling at the Slot Machine, since there's a chance to get Poison Snakes or Poison Mosquitoes after a spin.
- Players should craft the Seashell Suit first before crafting the Horned Helmet because the resources required for crafting the Seashell Suit is easier to obtain. This is because the Horned Helmet requires a Horn that doesn't always drop from a Water Beefalo.
